Acceptable Vision Plans, Insurances, and Methods of Payment
Uninsured Individuals & Self-Pay Patients
You do not need a vision plan or health insurance coverage to be seen at Kootenai Vision Center. In addition to cash, personal check, and CareCredit, we accept most major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, and Discover, making it easier for you to pay for eye exams, eyewear, and other eye care services.
Medical Insurance & Vision Plans
Because we offer many routine and specialized eye care services, we accept a number of medical insurance and vision plans including those listed below. Even for those healthcare plans that we are not in-network with, including VSP Vision Care, some services may still be covered, depending on your policy’s terms. Regardless of your insurance status, we welcome the opportunity to provide all of your eye care needs and we will do our best to assist you with any questions you may have regarding your benefits, your out-of-network eligibility, the pre-authorization process, and any reimbursement concerns.
